I make (lap) quilts (approx 43" x 53" (109cm x 135cm)) that fold in to a cushion (approx size 17" x 19" (43cm x 48cm)) (cot size is smaller). They are just the right size for 'snuggling' on the sofa!! and fold away to keep your living space neat and tidy.
They are all hand/machine made by myself so I can personalise your quilt.
Hand embroidery using embroidery silks. Prices start at £25. Depending on design, size and if you require any personalisation to your quilt.
For example as a baby gift. i.e.. babies given name. date of birth. weight, time of arrival and starsign. (these are normally made cot size unless otherwise specified) Poems and quotes (max 4 lines per block*) are also popular. i.e. ' a kiss blown is a kiss wasted, the only true kiss is a kiss that is tasted' 'reserved for Mr Right' 'I love chocolate!!' anything really. (*block= £5)Because I make them all from scratch using new as well as recycled fabrics anything is possible. I am always open to suggestions.
