About the site
This site contains listings of companies and individuals who make and produce in Britain.
Unlike most U.K. directories, which list all sectors of business, our aim is to be specific to manufacturers and producers including craftsmen, farmers, engineers etc., and to act as a platform for their promotion.
The directory can be searched by region, once you have entered the site or by product using the search engine. Alongside most listings is a photographic preview of the product(s) produced so that you can see at a glance if this is the product you are looking for.
Where possible the companies and individuals listed in this directory use British materials for their product but in certain instances e.g. stained glass artistry, cabinet making, joinery not all materials can be sourced in Britain but the design and/or manufacture are British.
The details submitted and shown on this site are taken in good faith and it is up to the user to determine to their own satisfaction that the product meets their requirements. This directory gives no endorsements about the companies or products shown therein.
The intention is that this site should be the single source for anyone looking for products that are home grown or 'Made in Britain'.
